Amla powder is made from the dried and ground fruits of the Emblica officinalis plant, also known as Indian gooseberry. This plant has been used in traditional hair care for centuries.
Amla is naturally rich in vitamin C and antioxidants, making it a popular ingredient in natural hair care products. The powder is often used to prepare herbal hair masks that help keep hair strong, shiny and well-groomed.
In natural scalp care, amla powder is used to strengthen hair and maintain a healthy scalp. It can be used alone or in combination with other herbal powders like shikakai or bhringraj.
Due to its mild astringent properties, it can also be used in face masks for the care of normal and oily skin.
